F.A.Q.

What does live-in care involve?

A live-in carer is not just a caregiver; they are a dedicated companion committed to enhancing your daily life. Our caregivers provide companionship and emotional support, assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation to light housekeeping, ensure your personal care needs are met with dignity and respect, assist with medication management, meal planning and nutrition, mobility, and exercise support, and so on. Our professional team will work with you to create a tailored care plan to suit your needs and requirements.

Is live-in care 24/7?

Under live-in care, you will have a caregiver with you in your home round-the-clock, however, caregivers are not expected to work through the night as they need their rest, like all of us! In addition, caregivers are expected to have at least 2 hours of rest per day, preferably in the afternoon, and as a single break. We understand that needs can vary, and that’s why we work with you to accommodate your requirements through detailed and thorough care plans and daily routines.

Do you provide care for couples?

Yes, it is our pleasure to help support couples to remain in their own home.

What is the vetting procedure for your caregivers?

All caregivers follow a thorough vetting process with our Business Support Administrator and Registered Manager, which involves taking professional references, a detailed enhanced DBS check and processing relevant documentation. Caregivers are interviewed thoroughly before joining Angel Holistic Care, and they are required to complete an ‘About Me’ form so we can really get to know them before any booking.

How much does live-in care cost?

Our live-in care prices start at £207 per day as a minimum, however, the exact cost will be determined upon a thorough needs assessment with the Registered Manager. Please note that costs may change as your needs evolve.
